Privacy policy
Effective October 19, 2026
Milk Run is a shared shopping list for families, run by Ash Bhoopathy. This page says what we keep, why, and how to delete it.
What we keep on our server
- Your email address, if you sign in with an emailed code, or your Apple user ID (and email, if Apple shares it) if you use Sign in with Apple.
- Your name, if you give one, so your family can see who added what.
- Your household: its name, who's in it, and invite links.
- The items on your shared list: names, stores, sections, and who added or checked them off and when.
We keep these only so your family's devices can share one list.
What stays on your phone
- Purchase history, past trips, and cart and receipt photos.
- Your location. It's used on the phone to notice when you're at a store, and is never sent to us.
- Voice and photos of lists. Speech is turned into text by Apple on your device, and lists are tidied up by Apple Intelligence on your device.
What we don't do
- No ads, and no ad tracking.
- We don't sell or rent your data, or share it with anyone for marketing.
- No third-party analytics.
Who helps us run it
- Vercel runs the website and server.
- Neon stores the database.
- Resend sends sign-in code emails.
- Apple handles Sign in with Apple.
They process data only to provide those services to us.
Deleting your data
In the app, go to Settings > Delete account. This deletes your account right away. If you were the only person in your household, the household and its list are deleted too; otherwise the family keeps the list. You can also email ash@lablablab.com and we'll delete it for you.
Children
Kids can be on a family's list when a parent invites them. We don't knowingly collect anything from children beyond what's listed above, and a parent can ask us to delete it at any time.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
